The Skills Lab
The Skills Lab is a 650sqft space that can comfortably host 24 delegates in a variety of simulation activities. We have a selection available, including suture training models, arthroscopy part task and anatomic models, Sawbones and other available at short notice from off-site storage.
The Lab itself is equipped with a large AV display for presentations, a linked 'roving' webcam, in-built MS Surface devices for displaying course materials, as well as being supported by an adjacent seminar room for parallel or breakout sessions.

The Skills Lab is on the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre site. Enter the main foyer and take the stairs to your left, or the lift just past the stairs. Follow the corridor towards theatres, and take the first left into the NDORMS corridor. The lab is signposted from there.
Bus
The Stagecoach 10 and Oxford Bus Company ST2 buses stop on Windmill Road close to the NOC main entrance, while the Oxford Bus Company 15 bus stops on Old Road at the rear of the hospital. Other buses are available stopping a short walk away in Headington from Oxford city centre, or the Park and Ride.
Car
There is a Pay and Display car park available on site, accessible via Windmill Road, but this has relatively poor capacity. This is an ANPR car park so remember to pay on departure! If driving, the Thornhill Park and Ride may be a suitable alternative.
